Ashlyn Esterly

“Family law is not about conflict — it’s about guiding people through change with clarity, dignity, and strength.”

Ashlyn Esterly focuses her practice on divorce, adoption, prenuptial agreements, support cases, and contempt matters. Her warm demeanor and dedication to client well-being make her a natural fit for cases that require a particularly sensitive and compassionate touch.

Ashlyn’s path to family law was shaped by a deep belief that every person deserves to feel safe and supported. She brings this conviction to her work every day, whether she’s guiding a family through the joyful process of adoption or advocating vigorously for a client in a contested support proceeding.

While she grew up in Ascension Parish and graduated from Louisiana State University, Ashlyn has become a vital part of the Lake Charles legal community. She brings a sophisticated skill set to the firm, including extensive appellate experience and impeccable legal writing skills that ensure her clients’ cases are presented with clarity and precision. Outside of the courtroom, Ashlyn is an active member of the Southwest Louisiana Bar Association’s Family Law Division and Young Lawyers Section.

When she isn’t advocating for her clients, Ashlyn enjoys dancing, playing pool, and planning her next travel adventure. She remains committed to building a legal practice that makes a real, positive difference in the lives of Louisiana families.
